[places for writers] is a Canadian writers' resource site. While we also like to help international writers, your contest or call must be open to Canadian writers.

Please follow these guidelines:
Submit a short paragraph that includes: genre sought (poetry, fiction, etc.), word length, theme, payment, deadline, etc. See current postings for examples.

This site is edited on a volunteer basis. Because time is a factor, submissions that require significant research or editing may not be posted.

Note: all items are reviewed for suitability and edited before posting.
