Open — but not limited — to personal essay, memoir, narrative nonfiction, social commentary, historical accounts, biography, etc. First prize: $1000. Length: 2000-3000 words. Entries of literary nonfiction are invited for the CBC Creative Nonfiction Competition. First prize: $6000, publication in enRoute magazine, two-week residency at The Banff Centre’s Leighton Artists’ Colony. Length: 1200-1500 words. Entry fee: $25 per entry. Deadline: February 1, 2013.
