Monthly e-journal seeks not-too-versey verse

Formalist poetry review The Rotary Dial publishes monthly to e-readers (Kindle and Kobo) with twelve poems in each issue: six by Canadians and six by international poets (ideally). Submit up to 10 poems. Looking for work that rhymes and/or scans but isn’t too versey: blank verse, syllabic verse — just not free verse. Deadline: open.

Descant invites entries for the 2013 Winston Collins/Descant Prize for Best Canadian Poem. This annual prize is in memory of Winston Collins, writer and teacher of literature at the universities of Cincinnati, Princeton and Toronto. Length: 100 lines. Prize: $1000, plus honorarium.
